Former Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head Advocate Andrea Johnson and former senior police officer Major General Feroz Khan were granted R10,000 bail on Friday 30 October after a brief appearance in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court.
The two were arrested that morning on a charge of defeating the ends of justice. They are presumed innocent.
What happened in court
The pair appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Friday. The State did not oppose their release on bail, and each was granted R10,000 bail.
The matter was postponed to 2 February 2027 for further investigations.
The charge and the presumption of innocence
The only charge reported so far is defeating the ends of justice. The allegations have not been tested in court, and both Johnson and Khan are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Their arrests on Friday morning were reported earlier on The Insight Factor.
